Vrijwilligen op ILFU
Als vrijwilliger op ILFU krijg je een uniek kijkje achter de schermen van het grootste literaire festival van Nederland. Je controleert kaartjes, verwelkomt gasten, verkoopt onze ILFU merchandise, helpt het publiek én auteurs hun weg te vinden op onze festivallocaties, en meer! Daarnaast is er voor- of na je dienst vrijwel altijd tijd om zelf ook festivalprogramma’s mee te maken en leer je nieuwe gezellige mensen kennen. En vergeet het unieke ILFU t-shirt niet!
Druk op de knop hieronder om het vrijwilligersformulier in te vullen. Hierin geef je aan welke dagen je zou kunnen en willen vrijwilligen. Je hoort half augustus van ons welke dagen je bent ingedeeld. Welke taken je precies gaat verrichten, vertellen we je op de dag zelf. Uiteraard ontvang je wel voor de start van je dienst een vrijwilligersbriefing.
Nieuwe vrijwilligersteam: Bouw- en breekploeg
Houd jij van slepen met spullen, heb je een beetje oog voor feng shui en/of detail, houd je er wel eens een vreemd dagritme op na, en heb je een paar weekenden wat uren over om te helpen bij het leukste literatuurfestival van Nederland? Dan kunnen we je hulp goed gebruiken in de bouw- en breekploeg.
In een vaste ploeg van ongeveer 5 mensen werk je aan de opbouw, inrichting en afbouw van onze festivalgebieden in TivoliVredenburg. Je zorgt er bijvoorbeeld voor dat alle tafels voor de boekverkoop klaarstaan, de ILFU talkshowtafels naar de juiste zalen zijn gebracht en er overal herkenbare ILFU-decoratie te zien is. Omdat je opbouwt, weet je na afloop daarna ook weer goed waar alles in de opslag staat. Tussen shifts door kun je meestal naar huis of de evenementen die je hebt opgebouwd bijwonen. Je werkt alle dagen in hetzelfde team en leert samen als geen ander de backstage van TivoliVredenburg en het ILFU Festival kennen.
Belangrijk:
Je bent in staat fysiek werk te verrichten.
Je bent beschikbaar op vrijdag 18, zondag 20, zaterdag 26, zondag 27 september én op 3 oktober (ook ‘s nachts).
Werktijden zijn vaak in de ochtend en einde middag/vroege avond. Op 3 oktober ook ‘s nachts (tussen 03.00 en 05.00 uur).
Je vindt het niet erg om buiten ‘reguliere’ tijden te werken. Het is daarom prettig als je in Utrecht woont, of dicht in de buurt.
Voor deze functie ontvang je een vrijwilligersvergoeding.
Aanmelden voor 1 juli. We maken half juli de selectie voor deze ploeg.
Volunteer at ILFU Festival
As a volunteer at ILFU, you get a unique behind-the-scenes look at the largest literary festival in the Netherlands. You check tickets, welcome guests, sell our ILFU merchandise, help the audience and authors find their way around our festival locations, and more! Additionally, there is almost always time before or after your shift to experience festival programs yourself and meet new, fun people. And don't forget the unique ILFU t-shirt!
Press the button below to fill out the volunteer form. In this form, you indicate which days you would be able and willing to volunteer. You will hear from us in mid-August which days you have been scheduled. We will tell you exactly which tasks you will be performing on the day itself. Of course, you will receive a briefing before the start of your shift.
New volunteer position: Build and break team
Do you enjoy hauling things around, do you have a bit of an eye for feng shui and/or detail and do you have a few hours to spare on a couple of weekends to help out at the best literature festival in the Netherlands? Then we could really use your help in the build and break team.
In a fixed team of about 5 people, you will work on the setup, furnishing, and dismantling of our festival stages in TivoliVredenburg. For example, you ensure that all tables for book sales are ready, the signature ILFU Book Talk tables have been moved to the correct halls, and recognizable ILFU decoration is visible everywhere. Because you are the one doing the setup, you will also know exactly where everything is in storage afterwards. Between shifts, you can usually go home or attend the events you helped set up. You work in the same team every day and together you get to know the backstage of TivoliVredenburg and the ILFU Festival like no one else.
Important requirements
You are able to do physical work
You are available on Friday 18, Sunday 20, Saturday 26, Sunday 27 September, and on 3 October (including at night)
Working hours are often in the morning and late afternoon/early evening. On the third of October, also at night (between 03:00 and 05:00)
You do not mind working outside ‘regular’ hours
We offer a volunteer compensation for this function.
Register before July 1. We will make the selection for this team in mid-July.
